Some pictures are not resized

I checked with two different pictures:

  • black a 512x512 1-bit PNG image ;
  • wb a 32x32 2-bit PNG image.

The first one is correctly displayed as a 80x80 image when requested without the size option and again correctly resized to other size.

The second is not, ever.
